DAVE BROCKIE EXPERIENCE To Tour With GREEN JELLŸ This Summer

The DAVE BROCKIE EXPERIENCE (DBX),which consists of three of the current members of GWAR, will join GREEN JELLŸ, the American comedy heavy metal/punk rock group, on its U.S. tour this summer. Exact cities and dates are expected to be announced during the coming weeks.

DAVE BROCKIE EXPERIENCE is composed of David "Oderus Urungus" Brockie (vocals/bass),Brad "Jizmak Da Gusha" Roberts (drums),and Mike "Balsac the Jaws of Death" Derks (guitar). DBX is a pet project of GWAR and shows some of their earlier punk roots from the DEATH PIGGY era. At their shows they play original DBX songs as well as tunes from DEATH PIGGY, GWAR, and X-COPS.

Originally named GREEN JELLÖ, GREEN JELLŸ changed its name due to legal pressure from the owners of the Jell-O trademark, Kraft Foods, who claimed that it was an infringement on their trademark. Despite the spelling difference, the new name and the old are pronounced identically.

GREEN JELLŸ is set to play the new Milwauee Metalfest on June 7 at The Rave in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
